  1. Hosting

Our website is hosted on servers of

prosem
Dipl.-Ing. Christian Boß
Elsbeeker Straße 44
42553 Velbert

We have concluded a data processing agreement with prosem.

When you access our websites, data is automatically collected and stored in log files on our hosting provider's server. This data may be personally identifiable. The data collected includes:

  • IP address of the requesting computer in anonymized form
  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of server request

The hosting provider uses the collected data to ensure the smooth operation of the website, to guarantee IT security, and to improve our services. In cases of specific indications of misuse, the log data may be analyzed retrospectively. The temporary storage of the IP address by the hosting provider is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, your IP address must be stored for the duration of the session.

This data will not be combined with other data sources.

The legal basis for data collection is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest in data collection arises from the aforementioned purposes.

The data is deleted by the hosting provider as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of data collected for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.

If the data is stored in log files, this technical information is anonymized for the customer and deleted by prosem after 30 days.

The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is essential for the operation of the website. Therefore, you have no right to object.

  1. Cookies

Cookies are used to provide our website. Cookies are text files that are stored on your device (PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.). These cookies are also used to make your use of our website more pleasant and convenient, and for analytical purposes.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies." They serve to technically provide you with the services of our website. These cookies are automatically deleted by your browser after your visit.

Other cookies remain on your computer and allow us to recognize your device on your next visit (so-called persistent or permanent cookies). These cookies are automatically deleted from your system after a preset period of time, which varies depending on the cookie.

The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests arise from the aforementioned purposes.

You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are being set and to allow cookies only in specific cases, e.g., third-party cookies (cookies set by a third party, i.e., not by the website you are currently visiting), to block cookies in certain cases or entirely, and to automatically delete cookies when you close your browser. You can also delete stored cookies at any time using your web browser.

  1. SSL or TLS encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential information, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address bar changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser's address bar.

When SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

  1. Contact options

You can contact us via email or contact form on our website.

In this context, your information from the form and the email, including the contact details you provide, will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request and for any follow-up questions. This data (e.g., name, telephone number, email address, IP address) will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

The data will not be combined with other data collected on this website.

The data may be stored as part of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) if you are already a customer of our company.

The contact form is sent using TLS encryption. This encryption prevents unauthorized access to your personal data by third parties.

The processing of this data is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for taking steps prior to entering into a contract. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

The data you provide in the contact form or email will remain with us until you request its deletion, object to its processing, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular, retention periods – remain unaffected.

Cookies are typically used on your device for this purpose.

The function of cookies is explained in our privacy policy; please refer to the relevant information there. These cookies store visitor behavior and user interests. This serves our legitimate interests, which outweigh your interests in this context, in optimizing the presentation of our services and offers and in communicating effectively with customers and prospective customers. The legal basis for this processing is therefore Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The legal basis for the collection and processing of data is your consent within the meaning of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you may have given or are giving to Facebook when accessing their website. You can revoke your consent to data processing at any time with effect for the future; please contact Facebook directly to do so. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the data processing carried out before the revocation.

For detailed information on how the providers process and use your data on their websites, as well as contact options and your related rights and settings for protecting your privacy, in particular your right to object (so-called opt-out), please refer to Facebook's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/ .

This data is used to create so-called usage and interest profiles under pseudonyms. Cookies are generally used for this purpose on your device. LinkedIn's privacy policy and cookie policy explain how cookies work; please refer to the relevant information there. These cookies store information about user behavior and interests.

Furthermore, we obtain statistical analysis from the collected data to determine which groups of people are interested in our company website. The data is processed in such an anonymized form that it is impossible to identify individual persons. This analysis may include information such as approximate geographic location, age group, and other summary characteristics.

If LinkedIn asks you for your consent to data processing, for example via a checkbox, the legal basis for this processing is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by contacting LinkedIn. Data processing carried out before the withdrawal of consent remains lawful.

For detailed information on how LinkedIn processes and uses your data, as well as contact options and your rights and settings for protecting your privacy, please refer to LinkedIn's privacy policy, which you can find at the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy?src=li-other&veh=de.linkedin.com%7Cli-other
