Our company, MUCKENHAUPT & NUSSELT GmbH & Co. KG, was founded in 1926 by friends Paul MUCKENHAUPT and Hans NUSSELT. We have been located in Wuppertal, the city of the suspension railway, ever since.
Since its founding, the company has been involved in the development, manufacture, and distribution of cables and electrical wires. At our sole location – in the Wuppertal-Langerfeld district since 1956 – we currently employ approximately 100 people.
As a fourth-generation family-owned company, we place great value on sustainable business practices, coupled with a high level of social responsibility towards our employees and the region.

MUCKENHAUPT & NUSSELT is one of the leading specialist cable manufacturers in Germany. We can react particularly quickly and flexibly to a wide variety of customer requirements and operating conditions.
Our company specializes in high-quality specialty cables and wires for applications in fields such as automation and robotics. Our product range also includes large-diameter elevator control cables and reelable cables for crane systems. In addition, we offer pre-assembled cables (e.g., for event technology) and coiled cables.
With a comprehensive range of machinery, we can manufacture flat and round cables and wires with cross-sections from 0.14 mm² to 185 mm². Our in-house testing and laboratory facilities are essential for consistently high quality.

From the Muckenhaupt & Nusselt cable factory in Wuppertal Langerfeld comes a surprising product: a delicious honey that also convinces honey sommeliers.
Managing Director Christian Muckenhaupt and Dietmar Herzog from Technical Sales successfully keep bees together on the company premises.
Christian Muckenhaupt: "It is a wonderful coincidence that Dietmar Herzog has returned to our company and has now become my master beekeeper."
