MUCKENHAUPT & NUSSELT GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1926 by friends Paul MUCKENHAUPT and Hans NUSSELT, and we have been based in the city of Wuppertal, known for its unique suspension railway system, ever since.
The company has been involved in the development, manufacture and sale of cables and electrical wiring since it was founded. At the only location - since 1956 in the district of Wuppertal-Langerfeld - we currently employ around 100 people.
As an owner-managed company in the fourth generation, we attach great importance to sustainable management, coupled with a high level of social responsibility for our employees and the region.

MUCKENHAUPT & NUSSELT is one of the specialized cable manufacturers in Germany. We are able to respond particularly quickly and flexibly to a wide range of customer requirements and operating conditions.
Our company specializes in technically high-quality special cables and custom wires for various applications, such as automation or robotics. Our product range also includes large-volume elevator control cables and reelable cables for crane systems. In addition, we offer customers customized (e.g. for event technology) and spiralized cables.
With a broad range of machinery, flat and round cables and wires with cross sections ranging from 0.14 mm² to 185 mm² can be manufactured. Our own testing and laboratory facilities are important for consistently high quality.

A surprising product comes from the cable factory Muckenhaupt & Nusselt in Wuppertal Langerfeld: a delicious honey that also convinces honey sommeliers.
Managing director Christian Muckenhaupt and Dietmar Herzog from the technical sales department successfully keep bees together on the company premises.
