Our solution:
Your cables for elevator/conveyor technology.
Our cables and
lines will get you
safely to the top.
intro
We design and manufacture elevator cables and wiring according to your requirements and specifications, or develop them in collaboration with you. Depending on the expected load profile, we design cables and wiring, select the appropriate materials, and, if necessary, combine cable systems with braided support structures.
The cables ordered can be printed according to customer requirements – for example with your company logo.
Insight I

No compromises when it comes to the transport of people and goods.
Whether passenger elevators, freight elevators, or panoramic elevators: the requirements for safety and reliability are high.
We understand the heavy, continuous mechanical stress that cables and wires in transport systems must withstand – day in, day out, often with hundreds of trips per day. Our answer is extremely high flexural fatigue strength, consistent over years. Cables developed by us are exceptionally robust and wear-resistant – even under varying climatic conditions.

Safety/
Fire protection

Meeting the stringent requirements for structural fire protection can be quite a challenge. Regarding permissible materials, we can draw on a wide range of options and extensive experience.
The safe wiring of elevators involves far more than simply ensuring a reliable power supply while complying with fire safety regulations. Communication lines, for example, must be taken into account to guarantee that emergency calls can be made to the outside world in the event of a breakdown.

Technology
We manufacture the following cable and wire types for use in elevator construction.
Driving speeds up to 10m/s
Round or flat cables, shielded or unshielded
Free slope heights of 30 to 80m; with center feed, this results in travel heights of up to 160m
Possible properties: halogen-free, flame-retardant, UV-resistant, cold-flexible, oil-resistant, increased temperature resistance
Hybrid cables, shielded or unshielded according to customer requirements
Special designs according to customer specifications
Load-bearing elements made of natural fibers, aramid or steel
Supporting meshes made of aramid, natural or synthetic fibers
Printing according to customer specifications, possibly also with your company logo
With a diamond-patterned or low-adhesion surface
The product standard DIN EN 81 defines product characteristics, test methods, safety rules and performance criteria for the design and installation of elevator systems

Step by step
Cables in the elevator shaft are subjected to strong tensile forces, which arise from the free slope height in the elevator shaft.
It is important that the weight is not borne by the electrically conductive copper strands, but by specially designed, mechanically particularly stable elements: For this purpose, we construct round cables with a central support element and flat cables with two external support elements.
Depending on the requirements and available installation space, steel cables, aramid cores, hemp or sisal cords are used. To prevent warping and looping of the cables during use, a reinforcing braid is integrated into the outer sheath. This braiding prevents torsion of the cables during operation and can also absorb forces.
The supporting elements are applied either by mechanical clamping systems or via pull stockings and ensure that the electrical conductors can perform the constant movements without strain.
This significantly extends the operating life of these power lines. And all passengers want reliability, don't they?
